Metallica

metMetallica is an American heavy metal band formed in October 1981. They are without a doubt the biggest and most influential metal band of all time. With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, they are also the most commercially successful heavy metal act in history. Metallica is a household name. The 7th biggest selling act in American history. Metallica is the most consistently innovative metal band of the 1980s and ’90s.

The band’s fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship placed them as one of the founding members of the „big four“ of thrash metal alongside Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax. In 2012 Metallica formed the independent record label Blackened Recordings, and have acquired the rights to all of their studio albums.
